Filipino creative projects are reaching critical mass, and all of us are so incredibly grateful and humbled by the support coming out from our communities. How to support and be a part of the creative movement:
1) For Creators: If you’re a creator, don’t be afraid to pilot something new.
We are here as a creative and cultural force.
It will take all of us to get where we want to go!
Be honest, tell your story, invite others to go along with you on the journey. We are all a part of each other.
2) For Supporters: Here are some Kickstarter opportunities if you’d want to get involved. Know that even a backer sharing $1 makes a difference. There are at least three hundred thousand Pinoys in the Bay Area alone!
Do you remember when you never saw yourself reflected in media?
If you’re coming up now, do you want to see more in entertainment, fashion, culture, films, books, music, art?
Here is your reminder that we always have a choice to make incremental advances.

and more and more and more.
There are many ways to show up. Be a part of the movement by buying local, supporting independent small businesses, and making sure to keep our kababayan in business. We will get there together.
Let’s create what we want for ourselves. We make our ancestors proud.
As a special note for my hapa Pinoys: we love you and we see you! We claim you! You are loved and appreciated and wanted, and we are so proud of you.
