We’re so close to finishing outstanding items in our submission queue and have a few more days left for any additional poems, short stories, and flash fiction.
Here is what a typical submissions queue looks like. We have set up using “Duosuma” which is very common alongside “Submittable” and regular forms such as Google Forms for submitting work.
The tool offers multiple projects and calls, and can also handle ratings, automated messaging, and downloads as well as scanning files to make sure they’re clean.

Because we have such a niche press you’ll note that the entries are extremely targeted. As we collaborate to bring the book to life you’ll note, too, that there are some reprints that have been accepted.
Moving forward with additional submission calls, we’re going to only work with unpublished pieces, so as to make the process easier for clearing copyright challenge from any prior publishers.
Further, we’ll ask for contributors to only have one go-around for the anthologies. That means that for Sirena’s Song, our proposed volume two, we’ll have a full new slate.
